Popular Front of India, Banglore unit organized the “School Chalo” program in Tank Garden Area, Banglore on 30th May 2010.

More than 250 students participated in this program. Majority of students were from the Govt School and economically backward families. The students walked around the area with the slogans on the cards to spread the message of education.

Survey was conducted by Popular Front members before this program and the Students who passed the exam with merit were felicitated in this program. School Chalo program is organized every year by Popular Front of India. This program is conducted through out the state, in which the students from the weaker section of the society are given scholarship to pursue their studies.

500 note books were also distributed among the poor children in the school.
