Dadri October 20: Adv. A. Mohamed Yusuff (National Executive Member, Popular Front) participated in a Legal Awareness Programme organised by All India Imam’s Council (AIIC) at Dadri in Gautham Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh on October 20, 2015.
Ulemas, Imams, Madrasa students, Muslim youths and local Muslim leaders attended in the camp convened in Kalonda Jumm’a Masjid at Nurpur Gaon, Dadri. Imam Council’s National General Secretary Mufti Hanif Ahrar, Nurpur Unit Secretary Maulana Gulfam, Unit Treasurer Hafiz Tayyeb, Human Rights Activist Ansar Indori (NCHRO, Rajasthan) also addressed in the legal camp.
In Dadri, a mob of fanatics carrying sticks, swords and pistols had attacked Mohamed Akhlaq, an innocent Muslim beaten to death, at night around 10:30pm,, merely on suspicion of storing beef later proved to be a rumour. Akhlaq and Danish was repeatedly kicked, hit with bricks and stabbed. Akhlaq’s elderly mother and wife were also attacked.
The family had been living in the village for about the 70 years . However he was brutally lynched without any mercy. His son Mohammad Sartaj, 27, is serving for the country as a corporal-ranked technician in the Indian Air Force.
