Popular Front to support SDPI in three constituencies

Chennai:A decade of United Progressive Alliance’s rule (UPA) at the Centre has created a strong anti-incumbency factor against the Government. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) head by the BJP is trying to capitalize the situation. They are trying hard to promote Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister with a fake theme called Vibrant Gujarat. Its the duty of each and every citizen of the nation to stop the fascist forces from reaching the power.

In Tamil Nadu, the Dravidian parties have rejected an alliance with the BJP, for fear of losing the minority votes. However a few parties have forged an alliance with the BJP, which is not based on any ideology.

In the present political scenario, the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has emerged as an alternate force. The party has decided to contest in North Chennai, Ramanathapuram and Tirunelveli constituencies in the State. Popular Front of India has extended its support to SDPI in these constituencies and has urged its cadres to work for the victory of the party.

In the rest of the 37 constituencies, the movement has decided to support the alliance led by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagaam (DMK). The support was extended to stop the fascist forces and their partners from winning in these constituencies.
