Guwahati, Nov 17, 2015: The week long workshop of North East leaders of Popular Front of India held at Goalpara near Assam capital Guwahati was concluded with a reiteration of its pledge to unite all deprived and marginalized sections for safeguarding their human and democratic rights to equal growth and justice. The workshop was attended by about 40 delegates representing organizational leaders from Bihar, Manipur and Assam. The Chairman of Popular Front, K M Shareef inaugurated the workshop on 11th November 2015. The programme was concluded today (17th November 2015).
“Let us work hard with commitment and dedication to uplift the backward communities in the fields of education, economy, health and governance. Muslims, Dalits and Adivasis are lagging behind all other sections due to discriminative policies of the government. We need to unite and create awareness among the community to rebuild the society on the foundations of ethical values and constitutional rights”, said E.M.Abdul Rahman, Vice Chairman of Popular Front of India, while speaking in the concluding session of the workshop. He also emphasized that Indian society should move together to defeat terrorism and fascism by strengthening secular and democratic values. He asserted that India has all potential to become a vivacious country provided all citizens remain committed to nation building and all governments fulfilling constitutional responsibilities.
National Executive Committee members Adv. A. Mohamed Yusuff and Muhammad Khalid Rashadi also addressed the workshop. Zafarulla Khan Qasimi, Muhammad Mursaleen, Muhyiddeen, Abdul Majeed Qasimi and others gave classes on various subjects like Organizational Management, Effective Communication, Constitution of India, Social and Political System, Media Management, Community Development, etc.,to enhance leadership qualities and management skills.
Aminul Haque, the Assam State President of Popular Front welcomed the gathering and Manipur State President Muhammad Arif Khan has delivered vote of thanks. Bihar State President Usman Ghani has coordinated the workshop under the guidance of camp director Muhammad Khalid Rashadi.
