Popular Front is victimized of Political conspiracy – no relation with Haval Racket

On 7th May 2014 Police filed FIR and arrested Popular Front Member alleging involvement in Havala racket accusing transaction of money for election purpose of SDPI. The following day nearly every newspaper flashed this news damaging the organization and pushes our supporters and public in dilemma about the organizations involvement.

Popular Front denies any involvement in any anti-constitutional activity and has no relation with any institution or groups involved in such activities.

In the wake of general elections in Andhra region, to damage the image of the organization and its supporting party in election some vested groups have conspired against Popular Front. The conspiracy was planned to execute on 6th May, so that it can damage the vote bank of Social Democratic Party of India on polling day i.e. 7th May. However, failed to execute it on 6th May, Police has arrested our member Dr. Syed Barkatullah Basha and filled a case accusing his involvement in transaction of 6 Lacks of Hawala Money claiming to be used for election expenses of SDPI.

Popular Front Members were already bailed by the court and Popular Front is contesting the case in the court of law. Popular Front warns the conspirators that it will answer them appropriately and take necessary legal actions against them.
