Popular Front of India demands reservation for muslims in Puduchery

Puduchery: Hundreds of People took part in the mass rally towards Secretariat from Kamban Kalaiyarangam on February 29, organized by J.Rafi, Puduvai state Secretary and submitted a memorandum to the chief Minister Rangasamy.
A State level campaign was organised to press the demand for the reservation for socially educationally more backward Muslim community in Group B government postings and to increase state level reservations further upto 4% in recruitment.
Rally was inaugurated by Ameer Pasha, SEC, Popular Front of India. Mohammed Ismail , State President of Popular Front of India ,Abubakker Siddique SDPI delivered speech on importance of positive communal reservation for the downtrodden Muslim community.
Awareness Campaigns conduted through Posters handbills distribution, street corner meetings , panel discussion, press meet throughout the State.
Finally Hasan kuthoos, Karaikal District President delivered vote of thanks.
