Coimbatore: Awareness campaign and Public meet on Muslim reservation held at Karumbukadai,Saramedu, Coimbatore on April 1,2012 around evening 7:00 pm.

To demand a separate quota for the upliftment of the socially educationally more deprived muslim community and to ensure the central and state government to pass an executive order to facilitate muslim reservation, Popular Front of India has been struggling continuously and conducting series of peaceful democratic way of protests demonstrations across the nation to draw the attention of the Government. Specifically to press the same demand it conducted a “Parliament March” in Delhi and “Raj Bhavan Marches” in Tamilnadu and Kerala.

Similarly, upcoming April 22 will witness Popular Front of India Tamilnadu Chapter’s unprecedented Rally. Popular front will conduct demonstrations in five different places of Tamilnadu. Chennai,Coimbatore,Madurai,Trichy and Nellai Districts urging the Tamilnadu state government to offer adequate quota at state level and the central government to offer Separate quota for all Muslims.
