Uppala (Kasarkode, Kerala): With India gaining independence from colonial rulers after long struggle, it moved to the hands of native robbers, said Karamana Ashraf Moulavi, state president, Popular Front of India. He was inaugurating North zone art rally- neethi bothana kala jatha- here. The rally has been organised as part of campaign programme for Social Justice Conference to be held in New Delhi on 26, 27 of this month.
He also said that corruption was widespread in the country and the cases related 2G Spectrum, Commonwealth Games, Karnataka mining scam etc were ample example for the same. Almost all major political parties are involved in the corruption in one way or another.
The backward classes of the country are being ignored and pushed to the back seat in all realm of the life. They are being deprived of power and due share in national resources, he added.
The true anti national nature of Samghparivar, who has black heritage of Gandhi assassination and espionage of freedom fighters, has been revealed through the explosions they have conducted all in various parts of the country, he added.
He also accused CPM for following the path of Sanghparivar in the issues related to the Muslim community. When people come out against blatant injustices they are being branded as terrorists and Maoists, he said. He reiterated that Popular Front would continue its fight for justice and equality facing all challenges.
State treasurer C A Haris presided over the function. State committee member Muhammed Ashraf Master, director of the rally B Noushad, Ibrahim Kannur, Kannur district president V K Noufal, secretary Naseer Kannur and others spoke on the occasion.
As part of the rally Collague, a street drama was enacted during the inaugural session.
After the receptions in various centers of Kasarkode, Kannur, Wynadu and Malappuram districts, the rally will be concluded at Changaramkulam on 18th of this month.
