Bangalore: Popular Front holds Seminar on Social Justice

Bangalore (Karnataka): Popular front of India conducted a seminar on social justice at Dar-Us-salam , queens road Bangalore.

Speakers from various Dalit organizations and legal fraternities participated and spoke on the topics Social injustice,Terrorism as internal security to our national security, Discrimination-Detrimental to development.

The seminar was conducted as part of publicity programme for Social Justice Conference to be held at Ram Leela Maidan, New Delhi on 26 & 27th November 2011.

Anis Ahmed, National executive committee member, Popular front of India, in his Key note address mentioned the aims and objectives of the conference. He discussed various problems faced by minorities and OBC`s. He also mentioned the atrocities on Farmers and Tribals by the administration.

Speaker Illyas Mohammed Thumbe, President of Popular front of India, Karnataka state spoke extensively about social injustice in the legal processes and said most of the victims are from Muslim community because of Discrimination ,he pointed some of the incidents (Babri Masjid and deliberate delay in justice ) ,also he pointed many incidents like Mumbai riots ,Gujrat genocide in which the culprits perpetrated these heinous crimes left to roam freely ,but innocents from Muslim community are lingering in Jails.

Saqib spoke about the plight innocent adivasis caught in the crossfire of CRPF jawans and Maoists in (Orisa ,West-Bengal & Jharkend ) He also pointed out the involvement of Hindutva terrorists in various bombs blast across the length and breadth of the country which ended up killing innocent Indian citizens (Hindus ,Muslims ,etc),ironically Muslim youths were targeted for the crime which RSS did & lingering behind bars.

Other eminent speakers who spoke on this occasion are, Nagari Babbaya, Laxmanji, Advocate Balan, Mohammed Tahir, RTI & Human rights activist, and Arul Selvam.
