Popular front registered a complaint on Seditious remarks of Dr. Swamy

Chennai:Popular front of India files a complaint against Subramainiam Swamy for his seditious remarks published in an online edition of DNA newspaper. Mohamed Shaik Ansari, Tamilnadu State Secretary of Popular front of India lodged a complaint on August 8,2011, to the Director General of Police (DGP),Chennai (TN) to take severe action against him.
Dr subramaniyam swamy of Janatha Party had written an article in DNA newspaper, which is seditious, politically motivated, intended to incite communal violence and promote enmity and hatred between different religions especially against Indian muslims.

In his article ‘How to wipe out Islamic terror’, he suggested that several conditions be imposed on the voting rights of all Muslims in India. By which the citizenship of every innocent muslims were at stake. He speculates that “Fanatic Muslims consider Hindu-dominated India “an unfinished chapter of Islamic conquests”.Further he suggests, “however small the terrorist incident, the nation must retaliate massively”.In his article he openly advocates the fascist agenda of “akanda bharath” by his rhetoric greater Hindu society.

It is considered to be communally divisive and a part of larger conspiracy. Muslim community felt that it is a systematic attempt to marginalise muslims from the mainstream and a direct threat to the peaceful coexistence and secular fabric of Indian State.

Popular front of India swiftly stepped into action, orgainised peacefully democratic agitation at various places and formally lodged a complaint to the DGP of Chennai urging the government to take necessary stringent legal action against subramanian swamy and to arrest him under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
