Popular front Condemns reckless attitude of TN Government

Mastermind of Coimbatore Bomb recovery Drama Rathnasabapathy has been promoted and appointed as a member in TNPSC

Chennai Feb 23: Popular front of India Tamilnadu State president AS Ismail condenmned the Government for Promoting Rathnasabapathy and appointed as Tamilnadu Public Service Commission’s Member. He was the kingpin the mastermind of alleged bomb recovery drama from coimbatore muslim youths.
In a press release he said,” on 22-06-2007, while Rathnasabapathy was working as an assistant commissioner of Intelligence services of Coimbatore news published widely that entitled “Plot to destroy Coimbatore district “, that created panic throughout Tamilnadu.

Various news papers and magazines continued their thrillers like Islamic fundamentalist groups conspiracy to destroy Key installations in the city including Coimbatore hospitals thwarted.

In a CBCID SIT Report submitted on October 2007 before Coimbatore Judicial magistrate by Mr Balan categorically stated that the case against the Muslim youth is a false and fabricated one. The kingpin of this alleged bomb recovery is Rathnasabapathy himself.

But unfortunately, Three years after submitting this report government didn’t take any action against Rathnasabapathy and other erring official. Istead, He was promoted as superintendent of police and appointed immediately at the coimbatore city itself.

To condemn this reckless attitude popular front of India continued its struggle by organizing peoples protest demonstration throughout Tamilnadu and to render compensation for the innocent Muslim youths implicated in false case. A case has also been registered against Rathnasabapathy (Former Assistant Commissioner Intelligence Services) in Chennai High court.

Meanwhile Tamilnadu government has appointed him as a member in Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Popular front condemns this reckless act of the government as it is anti Muslim and it will organize the people protests throughout Tamilnadu and will fight until justice rendered to the innocent victims in this case.
