Karnataka: SDPI condemns govt’s decision to scrap gazetted probationer posts

Bangalore: Social Democratic Party of India, Karnataka state has termed government’s decision to call off the all posts of gazetted probationer belonging to 2011 batch for alleged malpractice and corruption during the examination, as foolish and action against natural justice.
Abdul Majeed Kodlipete, state president of Abdul Majeed Kodlipete said, in a press statement, that 75% of the candidates who were selected in the competitive examination belonged to backward communities like minorities, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes. Some interests of elite sections had made false propagations of large scale malpractice since they could not tolerate the fact that the big numbers of people were selected under reservation for general category. They have created a fuss, as if all of 362 candidates were passed in illegal means. The government had opportunities to trace the candidates who got selected in illigal way and could identify the people, who passed through the right path by re-valuation. But scrapping all the list of candidates is against natural justice.
