Popular Front holds dialogue with media persons

Popular Front of India organised a dialogue session with media persons today at Constitution Club, New Delhi. The programme was attended by a group of journalists who discussed the role of media in the currents political scenario. Popular Front National Secretary Abdul Wahid Sait moderated the session. SDPI National Secretary Dr. Tasleem Ahmed Rahmani initiated the discussion. The participants shared the view that the media should play a proactive role in preserving our secular democratic system as envisaged in the Indian Constitution. It was suggested that when people’s faith in the legislature, executive and even judiciary is getting eroded, social organisations and independent media should work together for addressing the challenges.
