Popular Front condoles the demise of Swami Agnivesh

India has lost a true spiritual leader who stood to his last moments for secular India and its true tradition of religious harmony. At time when there is little resistance within against its misuse of Hindu religion by communal fascist forces, he fearlessly spoke against religion being perverted by communal fascist forces for their divisive politics. For this reason, Sangh Parivar found him a threat and targeted him multiple times but failed to stop him from his path. He was a towering leader who fought for social justice. He stood with the oppressed sections demanding equality and justice. It is indeed a big loss to the social justice movement in India. Popular Front expresses deep condolences.
