Udupi: Popular Front of India, Udupi district committee commends police department for its success in arresting real culprits of Manipal gang rape. Popular Front of India congratulates home department, Udupi district police Superintendent of Police Dr.Bora Lingaih, IGP of southern region Prathap Reddi and all other police officials involved in this operation.
After the incident some communal forces had tried to put blame on minority community, so that planned to create communal disturbances in the city. However the efficient police officers destroyed their conspiracy.
Popular Front demands that police department and the college administration should take appropriate measures to prevent repeat of such incidents in the future.
