Popular Front delegation meets Karnataka CM

Bangalore: On the 3rd of June 2013, a state delegation of Popular Front of India, Karnataka State, headed by the State President, met with the honorable Chief Minister Mr. Siddaramaiah.

At the outset, the Chief Minister was congratulated on his assuming power in the state of Karnataka and applauded him for the bold steps of withdrawing the anti-people and anti-minority legislation of ANTI-COW SLAUGHTER ACT which was promoted by the previous government.

In the brief meeting that lasted for about 20 minutes, Mr. RoshanBaig, MLA and former minister Mr. HM Revanna were also present. Mr. HM Revanna introduced the organization recounting his observations on the strict discipline and strong national feelings that we inculcate in our cadre.

Mr. Zameer Pasha, retired IAS officer, who was also present on the occasion prompted the Chief Minister about the commitment of the state to release all innocents who were falsely implicated in politically motivated cases within 3 months. This objective was welcome by the State President, Abdul Wahid Sait, as a very kind gesture and a pro-justice step in the state which was devoid of such noble acts in a long time.

State General Secretary, Mr. Abdul Khader, State Secretary, Mr. Nasir Pasha, State Executive Committee Member, Mr. Riyaz Pasha, Mr. Mohammed Sharief andMoulanaKaleemullah were also present. The Bangalore District Secretary Mr. Ilyas Ahmed was also present.
