Popular Front welcomes acquittal of innocent youths

Bangalore: Popular Front of India welcomes acquittal of journalist Matiur Rahman Siddiqui and Muhammad Yusuf Nalaband by National Investigation Agency.
It has been proved that Karnataka state government is hatching conspiracy to frame Muslim youths in terror cases with the help of Police Department. Such acts are common by the government to divert the attention of people from major political issues.
State home minister, who was responsible for these innocent youths to be kept in jail for six months, should resign his post and government should bear full responsible of injustice held on these youths.
This is not first time that Muslim youths falsely being framed on terror related charges and tortured by police and put behind bars. The same acts by police were happened in Belagaum APMC blast conspiracy case and Hubli blast case. Later truth was revealed when hindutva activists were arrested in Hubli blast case. Nasir Maadani who got clean chit in Coibattore blast case after spending nine years in jail, is also framed by CCB police on terror charges. This is unfortunate that continuously innocents are becoming victims of such police acts.
Popular Front demands unbiased enquiry against the police officers who framed these youths and government should apology with them and should give appropriate compensation.

General Secretary
