Theni: A.S.Ismail was reelected as the state President of Popular Front of India again for another two year term. In a press statement, A.Halid, State General Secretary of Popular Front of India,Tamilnadu state Chapter informed.
Popular Front of India’s Tamilnadu State General Assembly was led by State President A.S.Ismail held at Muthudevanpatti on January 4,5 and 6, 2012.

President in his inaugural Speech mentioned some of the past achievements and highlighted the milestones and growth of the organisation.
Later on an Annual report was submitted by the General Secretary A.Halid and It was followed by M.Mohamed Ali Jinnah’s speech on Nationwide duties, responsibilities and functions of the organisation.
State executive Council Election for the next two year term,the core event of SGA, was conducted after a deep discussion on Social, economic and political growth and future development of the community and the organisation which was presided and monitored by the Chairman K.M.Sheriff and National Secretary M.Mohamed Ali Jinna.
Newly elected State Executive Council elected State leadership and other functionaries.A.S.Ismail,Coimbatore,State President once again reelected for the State leadership responsibility and Madurai A.Halid was elected as General Secretary and Chennai M.Mohamed Sheik Ansari as the Vice President.Two Secretaries namely Mugavai J.Mohamed Rasin, Madurai Ilyas and Treasurer Thiruvithangode S. Faisal Ahmed was elected.
Other elected state executive members were A.Ahmed Fakhrudeen, Advocate N.Mohamed Shajahan,A.K.Ameen,A.Aboobakker Siddiq,M.Y.Abbas,S.Shafiullah,A.Mohamed Kaisar, Ibrahim,A.Mohideen Abdul Kader and A.Shahul Hameed.
