Siddapura: SDPI’s sudden protest forces gram panchayat to dispose garbage

Siddapura: Raged by the unwillingness of officers to dispose garbage piled in the town even after continues urge by general public, cadres of Social Democratic Party of India held a sudden protest in front of Siddapur Gram Panchayat recently. They also succeeded in fulfilling their demand before leaving the place.

The protestors said they had been demanding authorities to dispose the garbage since last ten days.

Speaking on the occasion president of SDPI, Siddapura said, rotted garbage is spreading stenches to entire city and gram panchayath did not find a proper place to garbage from last 40 years.

Gram Panchayat President Deva Janu failed to calm the protesters when she promised to dispose the garbage by two days. The protesters did not hear into her and threatened to continue the protest until the demand is fulfilled.

Ultimately bending into protesters, a JCB machine and tractor was called to dispose the garbage wastes. The gram panchayat president also promised a permanent solution for the problem.
