Chennai: The new State functionaries of Campus Front of India were elected at the State General Assembly held at Chennai today. The State General Assembly commenced with the hoisting of the flag by State President Abdul Rahman. Later, the General Assembly reviewed the activities of the movement and suggestions were also given by the members to further the movement’s activities.
The election for the State functionaries was held and new functionaries were elected by the General Assembly. The below mentioned were elected as the functionaries.
President – S. Abdul Rahman
Vice President – S. Fakrudeen
General Secretary – Mustafa
Secretary – Thowfiq
Treasurer – Tajdeen
The newly elected functionaries will function for the coming two years.
A public meeting was held in the evening. The newly elected functionaries, State President of Popular Front of India Mohamed Ismail, State General Secretary of SDPI Nijam Mohideen, Abdul Nasar (National President, Campus Front), Thiyagu (Tamil Desam) attended the program. Hundreds of students participated in the public program.
