Congress is enemy of Minorities: M.B.Sadashiva

Mangalore: “Some people are criticizing JDS for forming alliance with SDPI alleging that we have joined hands with communal party. Congress is allying with Muslim league, then why shouldn’t we ally with SDPI which has strong secular stance although it had been established by Muslim leaders”, said M.B.Sadashiva, president of JDS, Dakshin Kannada.
He was speaking at the convention of cadres of JDS and SDPI held at Town Hall, Mangalore.
“Congress leaders are acting like the protectors of minorities. But they make pact with BJP behind the scene. Congress is enemy of minority communities as parallel to BJP”, he said.
SDPI state president Abdul Majeed Kodlipete said, “During vidhanasabha election congress said it would arrest RSS leader Prabhakar Bhat, who is infamous to sow the seeds of communal hatred between minorities and majority. But they could not do so till now. Then how they will go to people to ask for vote”
SDPI Udupi district president Devi Prasad Shetti, SDPI state committee member Anwar Sadath and others spoke at the program.
SDPI state committee member Jalil Krishnapura presided over the program. JDS national committee member Hyder Parthippadi, district secretary Muhammad Kunhi, president of JDS minority unit Muhammad Shafi, J.Muhammad, DSS leader Anand Mittabail, SDPI leader Anwar Sadath, Popular Front D.K.district president Ataullah, SDPI district president Abubakkar Kulai were present on the occasion.
