Popular Front of India Kerala state secretary, S Nisar, has stated that the reports circulating about NIA raids at the residences of Popular Front of India leaders in Kerala are baseless. NIA has not conducted raids at the residence of any member or leader of the organization anywhere in the state today. An NIA enquiry about a relative of a Popular Front member at Chelari, Malappuram, which has nothing to do with the organization, seems to have been falsely propagated. At the same time, there is strong suspicion whether the agencies have willfully given misleading information to the media. We earnestly request all concerned to correct the mistake and abstain from spreading misinformation.
