Chairman Eid greetings Popular Front of India Chairman E. M. Abdul Rahiman, in a statement issued on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr conveyed warm greetings and called upon the people to express solidarity with those who are suffering as victims of natural and man-made calamities and those who are fighting for freedom and justice denied to them all over the world.
From the losses due to heavy rains and landslips in some parts of our country to the heavy earthquake in Iran, the natural calamities are lessons to humanity in order to fulfill responsibilities to fellow beings. Let us also share the pains of those men, women and children in Myanmar and Assam, who lost their family members and are either stranded or in relief camps after being driven away from their homes villages. The people Syria who are in war front against their repressive regime deserve our special prayers.
E. M. Abdul Rahiman has also reminded that on this joyous occasion, it is our duty to raise voice for the release of the hundreds of innocents who are booked under fake terror charges and are languishing in jails for years without getting bail.
