Freedom meet celebrated in Nanded

Every year on 15th Aug, Popular Front of India celebrates Independence day across the nation under the theme of Be the Sentinel of Freedom. This year Popular front of India, Maharashtra chapter organised freedom meet program at Nanded in Maharashtra.
At 10am in the morning a photo exhibition tributes to the life of Muslim freedom fighter, who gave their lives for the freedom of India, even our people or our fellow national also did not know them were displayed in the Amir Function Hall inaugurating by the hands of Mufti Ahmed (Quraishiya Masjid), This exhibition benefited more than 2000 people, who visited exhibition gallery including woman and children.

In the evening at 7.30pm, public program were started. In the inaugural speech dist president of Popular front Nanded, Mr. Abid Ali brief the aims of the program and asked the participant to stay alert for the rights which guarantees in the constitution. Irshad Basharat (SDPI Gen Sec Nanded dist), explain that this government is functioning for the benefit of corporate sector, formed by the help of corporate. DEC member Mr. Azeem siddique asked people to be the sentinel of freedom.

Guest of the program Mufti Ahmed brief the freedom struggle from 1756, at that time only muslim community were struggling for the freedom of our beloved country.This moment is annoying most of us that those who lead the freedom struggle, our country almost forget all of them except very few names. Mr. Abdul Hafiz (dist president of Jamiat Ulama e Hind), said that so many Ulemas are fighting for the freedom of our beloved country as from UP to Kolkata there were no tree on the road side found without of Hanging.

Program was appreciated by the enthusiastic people who were thrilled by the muslims role in the freedom struggle.
