E M Abdul Rahman inaugurates ‘Vicharatheeram’ programme
Popular Front is an organization of the people, who are dedicated for the country and society. It has made its presence in different parts of the country, marking a special place for Kerala in the history of Indian Muslims. No savior of Muslims could bail them out of the problems they are facing, like identity crisis, question of security and denial of equal justice and rights. Muslim leaders who have put themselves above the people, have miserably failed to meet these challenges and they are sitting idle in the mosques and madrassas and offices, he alleged.
Now fascism and hunger are their prime enemies. They should be prepared to regain their pride, he added.
State president, Nasaruddeen Elamaram chaired the first session of the camp. Vice chairman A Sayeed, state general secretary P Abdul Hameed, secretary P N Roshan, Treasurer K H Nasar, Abdul Majeed Faizee, Prof. P Koya also spoke. The programme participating more then 3,000 delegates, will conclude today.
