Popular Front Day to be celebrated across the country

A national-level meeting of Popular Front of India was held in Bengaluru on 9th February 2021 to review the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Popular Front Day celebrations and to discuss on the mass awareness campaigns related to the programme.

February 17 is celebrated every year as Popular Front Day by the organization to commemorate its birth in 2007. Chairman OMA Salam presided over the meeting, which was attended by General Secretary Anis Ahmed, Secretary VP Nasardheen, and delegates from various states including Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

This year the organization is celebrating its 14th anniversary through a wide range of programmes including volunteer marches, mass rallies, street corner meets, community get-together, and poster campaigns as part of the Popular Front Day celebrations across the country. The meeting appealed to the members, supporters and all sections of people to be part of the programme and make it a big success.
