Arivagam institution was established on 1993 in a small village in Tamilnadu called Muthudevanpatii, Theni district. For those who voluntarily accept Islam, Arivagam serves as an institution for teaching the very basics of Islam. A four month course is framed which covers reading Quran, performing salah, learning basic duas and hadiths and also about conveying the message of Islam to people. Accommodation, Food and other basic requirements are given free for all who undergo these courses.
Adiramapatnam : On behalf of Arivagam Dawah orientation camp was conducted on January 21,2012 at A.L.M School Adiramapatnam.Basic Islamic principles and values were explained in the camp inorder to promote better understanding, to remove hatred, to remove misconception and to convey the message of Islam in its right perspective to the people of different faiths. Veteran preachers shared their experience before the participants including women.
Chennai: On behalf of Arivagam a Dawah Team visited Stanley Hospital from 4-6 pm on last Sunday to console the patients which is a tradition of the prophet Mohamed (pbuh) and to present the Islamic message. Dawah Team used to conduct similar programs throughout the state at selected places to promote better understanding between multicultural societies, to remove hatred among them and helps people to understand the significance of positive communal discrimination at present context.
