SDPI Ramnad District functionaries meet

SDPI Ramanad district functionaries meet held at the district headquarters on January 25,2012. Noor ziauddeen, District President presided over the meet.  Amjad Hussain, District Vice President, Abdul Wahhab,District Secretary,Mohamed Sheriff Sait, District Treasurer, Somu District Convener of SDPI Trade union, Fairos Khan, Ramnad constituency President, Abdul Jameel, Secretary, Syed Ibrahim, Paramakkudi Constituency President were present at the meet. Mohamed Ishak, District Secretary welcomed the gathering and delivered introductory remarks.

State general secretary in his keynote address strongly condemned central government inactiveness to implement Sethu canal project which is Tamilnadu people's dream project and center's haste to continue the Koodangulam nuclear power plant which is against the wish of the people of Tamilnadu.
He condemned the government for frequent powercuts without any prior announcement.
SDPI party's growth and future strategy was also discussed by the General secretary while answering questions of the functionaries.
Several resolutions were adopted which includes condemning concerned authorities those who failed to complete underground drainage siphon project in the district, to restore the damaged road facility and unreasonable powercuts.
District functionaries at all levels like branch, city, constituency etc were participated. Finally Ajmal Sherif, city vice president delivered vote of thanks.
