Ramnagaram: Campus Front holds Anti Drugs program

Ramanagara (Karnataka): Campus Front of India, Ramanagara district unit organized an anti-drugs program on the theme of “Say No to Tobacco” here at the campus of Shanti Niketan College.

Syed Mateen district secretary presented welcome speech and explained the need of student activism. He highlighted the purpose of the organization to conduct such a campaign.

K S Nimala, principal of Shantiniketan Degree College said that consumption of drugs is an act which pushes our nation 100 years back. To compute with global challenges we should healthy by physically as well as mentally.

Dr. Sayeedabanu deeply explained the effects which leads to push us to death by the use of alcohol, smoking etc. she said there was a need to educate the youths about the effects of drugs and commended Campus Front to take initiation.

Vasimulla sheriff district president presented a seminar on the same topic. He explained the activities of Campus Front of India from the day of its formation.

Farhana Banu, HOD of commerce department said the activities of Campus Front of India should be encouraged as the commitment shown by its members. She called upon students to join Campus Front of India and work for the development of the nation.
