Karaman Ashraf Moulavi speeks at Popular Front state General Assembly at Malabar House, Malappuram, Kerala
It also drew the attention of the state government to the recent incidents in the state which show clear conspiracy of Sanghparivar to foment trouble in the society. At Perumbavur in Ernakulam district communal tension had prevailed couple of weeks back following the incident of butchering a sick cow at a temple premise. And at Thrissur, Vadakkekad temple shed had been set on fire by RSS activists and two among them were held by police. In Kasarkode, the remains of butchered cow were seen at a temple a couple of days back and the tension followed by the incident still prevails. It is crystal clear that RSS and affiliated forces are behind these incidents which carried out to create tension in the society and make profit out of it.
RSS is trying to cover up the damage Love Jihad episode caused for them when it was proved fictitious and non existent via these kinds of dangerous moves. For this they try to provoke the people and instigate then via smear campaigns against Muslims, general assembly opined.
The Popular Front state general assembly held at Malabar House in Puthanathani, Malappuram district, was inaugurated by national chairman E M Abdul Rahman. State president Karamana Ashraf Moulavi made opening address. State general secretary P Abdul Hameed presented working report. National treasurer Adv. K P Muhammed Shareef presented central report.
General Assembly viewed that despite the smear campaign by some vested interests in political parties, police forces and media, the organisation marked an unprecedented growth during last year. The Social Justice Conference held in Delhi, ban on Freedom Parade and regional rallies followed helped to win the hearts of people.
General Assembly called for immediate halt of police-intelligence campaign against Muslims and their attempts to demonise Muslim community by portraying them as criminal, terrorists and anti nationals. The e-mail hacking episode and reports of intelligence move to monitor Friday sermons at Masjids are clear indicatives of racial discrimination from the part of government against Muslims.
GA also demanded the central government to form a judicial commission to look into all encounter death cases. The recent revelations by the investigative agencies on the fake nature of encounter deaths in the country, government should come out with a clear plan to stop it forever.
T V Hameed presented resolutions in GA. National council member Hamid Muhammed made valedictory address.
