Mysore: Public Meet held as part of Why Popular Front campaign
Mysore: Popular Front of India, Mysore district, organized a public meet as part of the organization’s national level campaign “Why Popular Front?” at Banni Mantapa Ground, Mysore.
Speaking on the occasion, Popular Front national general secretary K.M.Sharif said that Popular Front of India has been functioning on the basis of ideals of Tippu Sulthan, Mahathma Gandhiji and Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
He added imperial forces, capitalist forces and communal elements have hand in glove to propagate false propaganda against Popular Front. He said our agenda is to struggle for the empowerment of Minorities, Dalits, Adivasis, Women and backward communities.
Former president of Backward Commission Dr.C.S.Dwaraknath, Popular Front state president Elyas Muhammad Thumbe, vice president Abdul Vahid Sait, journalist Rajashekhar, SDPI state president Abdul Majeed Kodlipete spoke at the program.
SDPI state general secretary Abdul Hannan, BSP leader N.Mahesh, All India Imams Council state president Muhammad Muazzam, NWF national president Shahida Thasneem, Popular Front district president M.F.Kaleem, writer Prof.Bhagawan, DSS leader Devagalli Somashekhar were present at the program.
