Kerala: Popular Front public health campaign begins tomorrow

Palakkad: Nation-wide public health campaign with the slogan 'healthy people healthy nation' organised by Popular Front of India will begin in the state of Kerala here tomorrow. As part of the state level inauguration a marathon will be held at 4 Friday evening in Palakkad city. The marathon will begin from municipal bus stand premise and end at Manjakkulam. It will be flagged off by football player Abdul Hakeem.
Following public conference will be inaugurated by state president of Popular Front Karamana Ashraf Moulavi. Mister Kerala (sub junior) Najeeb, Popular Front state council member M Abdussamad, Palakkad district president K M Abdul Jaeel, district secretary T Abdul Latheef will also participate.
During 10 day long campaign, various health awareness programmes will be held across the city. Cleaning programmes, yoga classes will also be held at unit, area levels. On 19th of this month various health programmes will be organised throughout the state, informed state council member M Abdussamad here at a press conference. State PRO C.P Muhammadali, district president K M BAdul Jaleel also attended the press conference.
The main focus of the campaign is to create awareness on health issues among the people in the grass root level.
