Fuel price hike another instance of anti-people moves: Popular Front

Popular Front Chairman KM Shareef has in his statement said that the latest oil price hikes in the euphoric atmosphere of 2015 Budget is another example of ant-people moves of NDA government. The decision came immediately after the budget was presented. Petrol price was hiked by Rs 3.18 per litre and diesel by Rs 3.09, the second increase in rates this month.

Puttur: State General Assembly (SGA) of Popular Front of India, Karnataka held from 18-01-2015 to 20-01-2015 at Freedom Community Hall, Puttur. State president Abdul Wahid Sait presided over SGC. Malappuram: C. Abdul Hameed and K H Nasar were elected as President and General Secretary of Popular Front Kerala by the State General Assembly held at Puthanathani in Malappuram for the term 2015-16. K Muhammedali (Malapppuram) was elected as state vice-president and B Noushad(Calicut) A Abdul Sathar(Kollam) as secretaries. CP Muhammed Basheer( Malappuram) was elected as the state Treasurer.

Popular Front demands impartial enquiry into Chennai Central blasts

Two bombs exploded at the S4 and S5 coaches of Guwahati – Bangalore express as the train reached the ninth platform at Chennai Central Station at about 7.45 A.M. on May 1. A woman died on the spot and around 14 people were injured in the blasts. Popular Front of India condemns this incident and extends its condolences to the families of the death and the injured. Popular Front also demands adequate compensation to those families.

Press Council directed 3 News Papers to publish clarification

New Delhi, 24 March 2014: The Inquiry Committee of the Press Council of India directed three news papers today to publish the statements of NIA and IB, while disposing the Complaints filed by Popular Front of India against these news papers for publishing the defamatory news item, which were maligning the image and reputation of the organization.

Popular Front condemns Bajrang Dal for forced conversion

Bajranj Dal, a frontal wing of RSS has forcibly converted the poor Muslims in Agra. Further plans are on for the conversion of Christians in Aligarh. The Hindutuva forces, after the BJP rule at the Centre, are continuously issuing statements against the Muslims and terrorising the community. The Central Government shows its support for the fascist forces by ignoring such issues.
