Popular Front of India secretary Abdul Wahid Sait in a statement has said that the passing of NIA Bill in both houses with nominal opposition is a proof that Indian parliament is getting tuned to authoritarian agenda of deep state. Only a few had the courage to question and vote against highly objectionable NIA Amendment Bill 2019. The opposition parties were tamed and intimidated regarding the Bill with the warning of Home Minister under the pretext of national security.

The Central Secretariat meeting of Popular Front of India announced the launch of the nationwide campaign with the slogan, “Live without Fear, Live with Dignity” highlighting the need of collective efforts for providing security to the lives of minorities and weaker sections vulnerable to ongoing Hindutva mob attacks and hate crimes in the country.

The Unity Parade and Public Meeting on behalf of Popular Front of India commenced this evening (30.06.2019) at Jinnah Stadium and concluded at the Muslim High School Playground. The rally was inaugurated by General Secretary of State A. Khalid Mohammed. State President M. Muhammad Ismail presided over the Public meeting. PFI National Secretary-General Mohammed Ali Jinnah, SDPI State President V.M.S. Mohamed Mubarak were also present in the meeting.

Popular Front appeals the people Defeat Citizenship Amendment Bill and Extension of NRC across the nation

A resolution passed by the National Executive Council meeting of Popular Front of India has urged all citizens and parties to defeat the re-introduction of controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill and to resist the attempts to extend the National Register of Citizenship (NRC) process that is currently being implemented in the state of Assam to all parts of the country.

Popular Front welcomes Kathua case judgment

Popular Front of India Chairman E. Abubacker in a statement has welcomed the judgment of the Pathankot fast track court in Kathua case, the brutal incident of rape, torture and murder of a young girl after keeping her sedated for days in village temple in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. The court found six of the 7 accused guilty and awarded life sentence to three and the other three, who are police officers who were found guilty of sabotaging the case, were sentenced to five years.
