Saturday 08 September: A delegation of Popular Front of India visited the mob lynching victim Sajid and his family in Delhi. Under the leadership of State Secretary M. Iliyas the delegation shared the uncalled for mishappenings with victims family at Mukandpur village in North west of Delhi. Sajid who was a tenant of D - Block, street # 7 living with his elder brother and his uncle Javed in A-Block doing hardware's shop told that his nephew Javed came from Bihar just 15 days before the lynching day to start some work of electrician. Father of the victim lives in NOIDA.

Derogatory Remarks against Kerala: Popular Front complaints to NBSA against Arnab Goswami

Popular Front Kerala state general secretary, CP Muhammed Basheer filed a complaint to News Broadcasting Standard Authority against the derogatory remark made by Republic TV Editor in Chief, Arnab Goswami, against people of Kerala. CP Basheer, in his complaint, alleged that Arnab racially insulted Malayalis and violated journalistic ethics. He said that according to NBSA rules, the first complaint had to be made to Channel Broadcaster and that had done accordingly. If action is not taken within a week, he would file the second complaint.

Patthanamthitta: Popular Front leaders visited the flood affected areas in the district. The team interacted with the victims of the disaster, and evaluated the situation. The delegation included National General Secretary, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, State General Secretary C.P Muhammad Basheer, State Executive Committee member S. Nisar, District President Shafeeq Chungappara and District Secretary Shanavas Muttar.

Undeclared emergency being enforced in the country: Popular Front

The Central Secretariat meeting of Popular Front of India has strongly condemned the series of arrests and raids in houses of prominent human rights activists and academics simultaneously in different parts of the country by Pune police. The meeting observed that this latest move is yet another example that an undeclared emergency is being enforced upon the people of the country by central and state governments by misusing police and investigation agencies.
