A Eid Get Together programme was arranged at Salem district on September 13. The district unit of Popular Front of India arranged for the gathering. District president of PFI Mohamed Fayaz presided over the function.
PFI provides legal assistance in Muthupet Tension has gripped the town of Muthupet of Tiruvarur district, yet again. The Hindutuva communal forces in the region are using the Vinayagar Chaturdhi procession to flame the communal tensions. This year too, on September 3, the communal forces created trouble by attacking the shops and residences in Muthupet. Its ironical that the shops of Hindu traders were also burnt by these Hindutuva communal forces. This clearly shows that such vested interest groups have no regards for the well being of the Hindus.
Popular Front of India, which strives for the upliftments of backward communities (Dalits, Adivasi, Farmers, minorities and Muslims), organised School Chalo campaign every year to provide the educational relief for the students of the backward community to educationally empower, had been arranged School kits distribution program at Haji Ali function Hall in Aurangabad on 26th Aug 2014.
Eid Get together programmes are conducted all over the state by Popular Front of India to install confidence among the oppressed masses and to create harmony among different communities. The leaders of various political parties and social movements participate in such programmes and share their views.
